Horses, History & Hospitality
Nestled in the straits of Mackinac where the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan meet, Mackinac Island is a National Historic Landmark. The architectural styles on the island span 300 years, from the earliest Native American structures to the present.
Shopping and staying on our quaint main street affords the best of everything! Easy access to the waterfront, the historic fort, accomodations, shopping and nightlife are a outside your door.
Because we care about our horses and our environment, we prohibit the use of personal motorized vehicles. Instead all enjoy leisurely horse drawn carriage tours, horse drawn taxi service, trail riding, biking, hiking or walking.
Step back in time, relax and enjoy your stay.
